1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using QueckSilver Search you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. You must be at least 16 years old to use QueckSilver Search. If you are under 16, you may only use the service with the verifiable consent of a parent or legal guardian.
2. Use of the Service
You may use QueckSilver Search for personal and commercial research within the bounds of these terms. You agree not to scrape or mass-query the service, not to use automated tools to bypass rate limits, not to resell results, and not to use the service for unlawful searches or to disrupt availability for other users.
3. Search Results and Third-Party Sites
Results are retrieved from an independent search index and link to websites we do not operate. We do not endorse, review or control linked content, and the operators of those sites are solely responsible for it. Visiting a linked site is at your own risk and subject to that site's own terms and privacy policy.
4. Intellectual Property
The QueckSilver name, logo and interface are the property of QueckSilver and its licensors. Content shown in results, including titles, snippets and thumbnails, remains the property of its respective rights holders and is displayed for reference and navigation purposes.
5. No Liability for AI Overviews
QueckSilver explicitly accepts no liability whatsoever for AI-generated overviews or summaries shown alongside results. Such output is produced automatically, may be inaccurate, outdated or incomplete, and is provided without any guarantee of accuracy, legality or fitness for a particular purpose. You assume full responsibility for how you interpret, reproduce or rely on it.
6. General Disclaimers
QueckSilver Search is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, completeness of the index, or a specific ranking of results, and we are not liable for decisions made based on search results or AI overviews.
7. Availability and Rate Limits
We may apply rate limits, temporarily restrict features, or suspend access where usage is abusive or threatens the stability of the service. Features may change or be removed at any time.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Significant changes will be announced before they take effect; continued use of the service afterwards constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
9. Force Majeure
QueckSilver is not liable for failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including internet outages, third-party index or API failures, natural disasters, or regulatory changes.
10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Swiss law. The exclusive place of jurisdiction for disputes arising from or in connection with these terms is Switzerland. Mandatory statutory provisions for consumers residing in Switzerland remain unaffected.
11. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, it shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable; all remaining provisions stay in full force.
